Just a quick post before I go for my dinner yum yum. My head is cabbaged well and truly with trying to put photos on my blog....have given up and just put them on flikr...make sure you check them out cos they're from our church at Christmas Eve. You don't have to look but I will be round putting windows thru if you don't lol. I will post the rest of the pics when I get a minute.
Happy New Year to all, may get on later on to blog about church today but probably not as Scot is home from dads and there is no way I get a sniff on computer with him here.

Hope everyone had an excellent Christmas!! Mine was lovely thanks. On the Saturday we had the churches together carol service which was really good, loads of shoppers stopping to get carol sheets and sing carols..nice one. When we'd finished Elaine took me to get my Christmas tree, spotted a lovely one that wasn't unlike me in size (small, round and fat) so got it and we both reckoned it would look nice in the little corner of my living room..wateva! The corner is little but once we had managed to free the tree from the boot of the car and untether it, we realised it might have been round and fat but it wasn't that small and had to rearrange the furniture. It looks nice tho but the only problem is that I have to get Scot to crawl under it to plug the lights in or unplug them...haven't seen him for a week, maybe he got stuck under there.
Church on Sunday was excellent as usual, although I was a bit disappointed that nobody new came as our collectors have been giving thousands of leaflets out for weeks now, the service was lovely anyway and I got a chance to sing carols for the 1st time yay. On Sunday night we had the 'Carols by candlelight' service which is always jam packed and this year was not exception, it was just beautiful, the kids were ace, the adults were ace, Christine and Ian were ace and the band were ace. I was really hoping to put some photos on here from Christmas Eve but my brain has gone blank and I can't upload them...grrrrr. Went to church on Christmas morning and there were lots there, all the kids excited and adults too...we had a new person at church this morning called Andrea and her little girl...she had rang christine asking if the carol service was open to anybody and of course it is so she had come on Christmas Eve and then again on christmas morning..just how good is God eh. We are praying that she will keep coming and be part of our fellowship. God has done some amazing things this year in our fellowship and the best being new people coming through the doors and Mark and Lorraine getting saved. Lorraine is just amazing and so full of Jesus, its just ace to be a part of her journey with Jesus. She is just a great big beauty for Jesus and its brill. We are all buzzing...wooooohooooooooooo. This year at church was our year of destiny and God did great things, next year is our Year of Holiness with lots of teaching on it and people being open to living a life that is Holy and for Jesus. God is going to do great things and I'm dead excited to be a part of it. Our church is ace. I know I say that a lot and I'm not going to apologise because its the truth lol.

A busy week this week workwise.....I'm shattered and getting to old to be running round asking "is that large" and "would you like fries with that" when all they wanted was ketchup...feeling like a robot lately lol...as I sometimes say at the end of a busy week ITS ALL GOOD FUN INIT!!----NOT! Went to a funeral yesterday of one of the lads that we all used to knock around with when we were young. Don't need to say that it was very sad being so near christmas and all that :o(
We are on the precinct this morning for the last Saturday (HIP HIP HOORAY-just kidding I love playing at Christmas) we are also having the Churches together carol service on the precinct too so I am praying that loads of people either stop and join in the singing and get to know that Jesus is the Reason...or that even if they walk past it will cause them to wander what we are all about.
My friend Alan is home from London for christmas yayayayayayayay..he's coming round tonight so will post some stuff about him tomorrow. I am so excited woohoooo.
gotta go and have some brekkie.

Been a while since I last posted cos I have been a bit busy with work and church etc and been doing some much needed housework and other stuff.
Have really enjoyed Christmas carolling this year, played at the Trafford Centre a few times with Eccles Salvation Army, been on our own precinct every Saturday and been and played at a few carol concerts, its all good fun and I love it cos I get to be with my lovely friends.
So whats been happening in my life? Well apart from work/church and cleaning not a lot really but I'll write about it anyway lol.
A few posts ago I wrote about meeting my sister that I had never met before, well my other sister Krista and I arranged to meet Tracey in Manchester city centre. We were so excited and giddy all the way into town and walking through town, it was so funny cos we were proper hyper. Got to the meeting place and waited and waited and waited and waited (half an hour) but unforunately no sign of any long lost sister :o( to say we were gutted is not enough...can't explain how I felt apart from that I haven't felt like that for a long time. I have emailed Tracey since to let her know we turned up but have heard nothing at all so am unsure of whats going to happen next. Thanks to those people that I know who prayed about this.
Church over the last few weeks since Lorraine got saved and Mark became an adherant has been ace. Monicas sister Joanne has been to church on Sundays since then with her little girl and Monicas friend Anne has been hoppin along too (she has a poorly foot so hoppin is the best way to describe how she gets there lol) God is good init. We had the mums and toddlers parties this week, I don't have anything to do with toddlers as I am working but am always interested in whats happening etc cos its my church and actually I do have summat do with it as I pray for it and pray for families to get to know Jesus! The kids club and youth club parties were excellent fun and hopefully I will get hold of some photos to put on my flicker as we have written permission from all the parents to be able to use their pics on the net.
Work has been alright the last few weeks, I have been working like a dog this last week tho due to labour controls, I'm not even going to bother elaborating on that as I get riled but I will just tell you what most people already know and that is that McDonald's don't really give a monkeys about customer service. They care about getting as much money in the tills by using the least number of staff possible. The only highlight about my job is that I have some good friends and I love talking to customers regardless of how long the queue is lol. I entered a competition in October on the staff website and found out that I had won it last week yippeeeee. The prize was a red letter day and there are 225 activities that I can choose to do. I have decided to go and see Phantom of the Opera in London, best seats in the house, with a back stage tour and drinks in the bar afterwards and am bringing my best friend Elaine along for the fun, we are so looking forward to it. Elaines brother in law is an executive for McDonald's and is getting us accommadation for a few nights at one of the company flats on Baker Street so we will be living it up lol..its not what you know its who you know!
I need to go and make myself a cuppa so might pop back and blog some more in a bit................................................................................................and there again I might not lol.

Having some computer trouble at the moment as Scot opened an attachment that was full of viruses....so going to make the most of this time to let you know whats been going on at my church. Just a warning that if you see any links to any sites on my blog do not click them as another programme keeps trying to put stuff on here.
Its been a pretty awesome week really and Jesus has been doing some absolutely amazing work in peoples lives. On Tuesday Lorraine from church gave her life to Jesus, she has been coming to church for a few years now and has been on a dead exciting journey for the last month or so. We have all prayed so much and Jesus is going to do amazing things through her cos she has a great infectious personality and a massive family lol come on Jesus bring them in.
On Thursday at our kids club we had 15 children decide that they wanted Jesus to be their friend, it was such an ace moment to see. Please pray for our kids at club and pray for us as leaders and helpers. Thank you Jesus for the miracles you are doing and the changes you are making in lives.
This morning at church we recognised a new adherent..Mark, who is Monicas husband. He became a christian a few months ago and God has done some amazing things in his life since.
Since he became a christian he has started training as a chef, sold the house that they had been trying to sell for ages, moved into a new house..thats just some of the stuff God has done. God really is just doing some awesome things in our church and I am so so proud to be a part of it. I really do love my church and I love all the people that come, I love the people that even walk past I suppose....yippeeeeee.
This Sunday 7 years ago was the day that I gave my life to Jesus Christ and I just want to tell everyone how ace it is. I am more in love with Jesus every day. Its only when I look back and realise how much I have more matured spiritually over the years and I thank all my lovely mates at church for their love and encouragement...I feel like I'm making an oscar speech hahahahaha but seriously I do thank God every single day for my life. I want to always remember how ace is what when I got saved and never forget what Jesus did for me and what he can do for all of us. am waffling now but I don't care.
anyway gotta go now as my lazy lad wants a bath and I don't trust him with water even tho he's 14...lol
