Been meaning to get on here and do a full roots report and a round up of church etc but just never manage to get on due to Scot hogging the pc..anyway Roots was great as always although quite a lot of things irritated me this year. Not going into any detail about what irritated me as its pointless and just my humble opinions about stuff etc. My church on the other hand never irritates me and I am going to get upto date with whats happening!!

Missed a week of Kids club and Youth club because of roots so were back this week and it was great. A few of the older ones who had been missing from youth club came back this week so that was really positive and we had 2 new girls come. Had good conversation with their mum who it turned out was in my brothers class at school, I think its ace when you suddenly realise you have a link with people cos it really makes chatting so much easier. On Wednesday I was still off work so gave Monica a hand at mums and tots. Didn't do that much apart from butter about 100 loaves of bread (thats what it felt like anyway hehe) and load the dishwasher up. Spent a lot of time inbetween just watching the little uns playing and watching the mums and praying for them and thinking it would be ace if they all get saved...they might not realise it but they are as much a part of our church family as the people that go on a Sunday. I had invited my sister Krista to church on Sunday and was buzzing when she said she would definitely come. I have mithered her loads so was flipping excited for her to come, unfortunately due to too much booze the night before as it was her 40th she sent me a text to say she wasn't going to make it. I was actually really amazed that she had actually bothered to send me a text apologising as in the past she just refused to answer the phone when I have tried making sure she was up lol.. God has blessed me with the gift of mithering and I make sure I use it to its full advantage. (for those not sure what MITHER/MITHERING means its slang for harrassing basically lol) Church on Sunday was great as usual and we had another new family today. Lisa and her 3 kids, Becky, Liam and Ella. Please pray that they will continue to worship with us and for their Salvation!! Also pray for Lisa's husband Wayne who has said that he will be coming this week! ta

In a bit.
