Credo at Sale Salvation Army

Me and Lorraine went to Credo tonight which is a divisional worship meeting which happens every 2 months. The theme for the Evening was 'A perfect 10'. It was a really really lovely evening and probably one of the nicest Credo's that I have been to yet and I think it was because Jesus was allowed to just do His thing and it kind of sent the meeting plan a little wayward lol. Thank you Jesus that you show your presence in everything we do. Just a little post because I am gonna go to bed and think lovely thoughts now and talk to me mate Jesus for a bit.
I have managed to kick Scot off the pc (actually he's gone out) and get this blog updated yippeeee..I would have done it weeks ago but am just lazy.

Loads has been happening at our church and I probably won't remember everything so here's an update and I will try not to waffle.

At the beginning of August we all traipsed off to Hollybush for our annual church Holiday. As usual our tents and caravans and marquee took up a whole section of the camp lol. I have posted all the pictures on my Flikr or on my facebook so you can look at them. Hollybush is just an amazing place for us at Swinton because so much has happened and so many lives have been changed there. The bible studies were excellent and the nightly celebrations were excellent too. On the Thursday night there was a youth choir leading the service from Missouri. USA for me that was probably the highlight of the week.. I'm fuming with myself for not writing about this earlier as I have forgotten a lot grrrr. We had a wedding in our church the week before Hollybush and that was great because Freda and Jim who got married have since been coming to church on Sundays quite regularly. We also had a dedication the Sunday we got back which was ace because it was someone that Ian got chatting with while selling the war cry in Swinton. Gods just been doing great stuff.

Our kids club and youth club started back again a few weeks ago and we hardly had any kids come back which was a bit worrying. This week thought a lot more came back so thank you Jesus for that. I was especially buzzing because my sister Janette bought her little boy Zac to club and my other sister Krista came to help and bought Taigan with her..how good is God.

Church this morning was just ace...Ian prayed before the meeting began and thanked God for the hubub of noise that goes on in the background and for the fact that people find it so easy to just wander in. Our Bible studies were back on Wednesday and that was great because we had tea together which always makes me happy cos I love food hehe..its just good to have Bible study back on cos over the summer I went a bit rusty so thank you Jesus for that too.

Works been good but hard because of the kids being on holiday. Managed to somehow keep the stress levels down to safe levels though hehe although i have had a few days where my heads felt like its going to blow up. I really do have so much personally to thank God for and as a church we have so much to thank God for too. I can't think of a better place to be than Swinton because thats where God put me.
