Had a good week at work last week due to the fact that I only worked 3 days hehe...Last Monday was my birthday so I had that off and then thought why not have another day off so I did, had a really lovely day and went up to Bolton Abbey with Scot, Elaine and Tony. Had a lovely walk to see the ruined Abbey, quite shocked to realise that it was destroyed by order of Henry 8th, I mean I knew that he did wreck a lot of churches but I have never see the ruins of one before, apparently I have been a few times before when I was a kid with my mum and dad but I really don't remember. We were meant to go for a pub meal but couldn't find anywhere decent so had fish and chip in the car yum yum yum..miles better than anything from the pub.
My friend Alan is leaving work next Saturday, my last shift with him will be Friday, I am gutted :o( have worked with Alan since 1999 and I just love him to bits, not sure how I am going to manage without him as he's the only other person at work that is 'normal' (by my standards anyway) my heads in bits already grrrrr its not like I'm planning on being extremely distressed its more that i'm trying to prepare for it lol....I'll miss his cuddles, his sarcasm, the great discussions we have, the bickering, he's just been a great friend to me and even though he flippin riles me at times and drives me mad I love him loads sob sob sob sob..the only positive thing about him leaving is that maybe I'll lose weight a bit quicker as he is always trying to coax me with food lol...
Ian and Christine are back off their holiday..hip hip hooray. They had a lovely time and visited some amazing churches in Hereford, its all good stuff innit. So glad they are back at the helm, I don't mean I never want them to go away on holiday cos I do cos everyone needs time out to refuel its just good to know that our church is back in capable hands. We have a dedication at church tomorrow, we will be having an extra 45+ people at church tomorrow so its going to be really ace...all those people who will be hearing about Jesus, good things have got to happen come on Jesus!!!!!
I think I just heard thunder..nope it was my tummy rumbling for breakfast hehe..
